Life Drawing Figure Drawings - Spring 2023, Charcoal

 

The series of pieces were made in my UCONN Life Drawing class, where we needed to draw various nude models throughout the year. Some were made with a time limitation of 20 minutes, while most were given at least an hour and a half to finish. Each drawing was made using both vine and hard charcoal, charcoal pencils and white charcoal. The last drawing was an exercise of drawing negative space around a model while they were sitting inside hollow metal boxes.
